Association of Women in Agriculture Benefit Corporation Elects Board Members

Six board members were elected and two members was re-elected by members of the Association of Women in Agriculture Benefit Corporation (AWABC) at their annual meeting on April 9. All board members are UW-Madison graduates that were involved with the Association of Women in Agriculture (AWA) as students and are now looking to give back to the organization by helping to lead the direction of the alumni association.

 

Bethany Dado-Senn, class of ‘16, joined the board as education chair. She is finishing her Ph.D. in the Animal and Dairy Sciences department at UW-Madison. She resides in Madison, Wis. with her husband and their two daughters.

 

Elected as communications chair is Emma Wagner, class of ‘18. She resides in Davenport, Iowa and works in talent development and acquisition at HNI Furniture Operations. 

 

Ashley Nelson, class of ‘21, joined the board as advancement chair. She is a graduate research assistant at North Dakota State University and lives in Fargo, N.D.

 

Elected as programming co-chairs are Liz Grady, class of ‘20 and Molly Hendrickson, class of ‘19. Liz is the Marketing Coordinator at Midwestern BioAg and resides in Madison, Wis. Molly is the Channel Marketing and Communications Specialist at DeLaval and resides in Hollandale, Wis. 

 

Newly elected House Management co-chair is Brenna Rosser Johnson, class of ‘19. She is an Assistant Teacher at Parkview After School Program and lives in Orfordville, Wis.

 

Elected for a second term and continuing as a Financial Management is Jaime Remer, class of ‘16. Remer works for Compeer Financial as an Associate Financial Officer. Remer resides in Omro, Wis. Stephanie Thiel, class of ‘19 was also elected for a second term as the Treasurer. She works at Johnsonville as an Associate Regulatory Specialist and lives in Sheboygan Falls, Wis.
